You’ll need a parking permit to park in controlled parking zones in the borough. Download the controlled parking zones list (PDF)

There are several types of permit for residents, businesses and other types of users including doctors.

You can apply if you meet the requirements for each permit, but you won’t be given a permit if your vehicle has outstanding unchallenged parking penalties.

You can apply online or by post.

Change of vehicle

You can register a change of vehicle or report your vehicle stolen using your online account. If you don't have log in details, please contact our permit team by email wfpshop@nsl.co.uk or call them on 0203 092 0112, option 3 for assistance.

Parking permit refunds and transfers

All permits, except visitor permits and temporary one-month resident permits, and resident trader permits can be refunded on a pro-rata basis for each full month still to run on the permit subject to a £27.50 admin fee.

Please see the following scenario as an example;

Permit holders can be reimbursed on a pro-rata basis for each full month still to run on the permit. That is if an annual permit was purchased on the 1 March and returned for refund on the 25 May the refund would be 9/12 of the fee paid less the £27.50 fee as there would be nine full months still to run on the permit. Please note that refunds are applied for with a cheque being sent to the permit holder.

For more information please contact our permit team on 0203 092 0112 option 3 or e-mail them at wfpshop@nsl.co.uk

Please note that refunds are issued through the online account to the card that the payment was made with.

If you have paid by cheque, postal order or your payment card has expired, you will be given a refund by cheque. See the relevant permit page for service fee charges.

Refund applications can be made using the online account or you can apply in writing and send it to:
