The Poetry event will feature Joanna Brown, mother of Alexander Paul talking about his life and legacy. She will be accompanied by young readers who will showcase some of Alexander’s poems , especially ones that will encourage and inspire young people to seek excellence.

Alexander Paul was a high achieving Warwick University student, studying Politics and International Studies. He was also a talented poet and spoken word performer and according to Afua Hirsch, broadcaster and author, she wrote about him on her review of the book Climbing Clouds Catching Comets that “His work gives insight into the mind of a writer whose talent fizzes onto the page …. and who shows wisdom far beyond his young years…”
