Waltham Forest Council is once again hosting three Christmas lunches and one dinner in Chingford, Leyton and Walthamstow for residents aged 65 and over.
Following the success of previous year’s events, places will be now be allocated through a random ballot system to ensure every applicant receives a fair opportunity to attend.
Guests will be treated to a tasty Christmas meal and festive entertainment, along with the chance to catch up with friends and neighbours and the opportunity to meet new people.

Registration closed on 30 October.
All those that have been selected to attend will be notified between 6-10 November by email.
When registering, you will need to give your first and second choice venue, full name, date of birth, email address, home address, contact number and any accessibility or dietary requirements.
Due to the popularity of the events, and venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate a certain number of guests at the Christmas meals. If you do not receive confirmation by email by the 10 November, unfortunately you have not been successful this year.
