If you own or run a shop, factory or other business you have a duty of care to dispose of your waste using a recognised waste management organisation. If you don't dispose of your waste responsibility, you could face a fine of up to £20,000 and/or 6 months imprisonment.

You need to have a contract with a recognised waste management organisation to dispose of your trade waste.

The maximum fine for dumping rubbish is £20,000 and/or 6 months imprisonment.
