Sustainability Appraisal
The Council is carrying out a separate consultation on the Sustainability Appraisal Report on the Draft Local Plan which was published for consultation during the period 22 July to 30 September 2019.
Sustainability Appraisal is a process to assess the social, environmental and economic impacts of a Plan and is required under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, and the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulation 2004. The consultation period runs from Wednesday 9 October until 20 November 2019.

Call for Sites
As part of the Local Plan preparation process, the Council welcomes sites being put forward by individuals, landowners, developers, businesses etc for consideration. The aim of the ‘Call for Sites’ is to identify sites within the Borough that may have the potential for development over the plan period, and that could be included on our Brownfield Land Register. If you would like to submit a site for consideration, please visit the Consultation Portal.
