Volunteering opportunities in parks and open spaces

""

We have two distinct offerings by our contract partners, The Conservation Volunteers.

The first of these - the Green Gyms - are based in Lloyd Park (Walthamstow), Ridgeway Park (Chingford) and Leyton Jubilee Park (Leyton). The Green Gyms are a more permanent offering, allowing volunteers to enjoy being based in the same location on a regular basis. This has allowed for the creation of longer-term projects and the chance to work in a regular team.

There is also an on-going programme of works, including building fences, planting trees and wildflower bulbs, and creating wildlife habitats.

Projects are constantly being updated and changed so variety is assured.
