To celebrate World Car Free Day, why not walk, scoot, or cycle over to Hoe Street to join Waltham Forest’s largest street party! The road will be closed to traffic for the day, between Hatherley Road and Selborne Road, and instead will host fun family activities, live performances and garden games. Local businesses will be getting involved too by expanding onto the street and offering food, drinks, crafts and gifts to enjoy.

Activities taking place include:

  • Market stalls
  • Live performances
  • Street games
  • Free bike maintenance with Dr Bike
  • Second hand bike market
  • Sustainable crafts and activities

The Farmers' Market and the Sunday Social Market will also be held at its usual time and place, so there's lots of reasons to come along to the heart of Walthamstow.
