Who we are and what we do
The sustainable transport team, based within the Highways and Traffic Management department, is responsible for the electric vehicle charging points that are installed on the public highway in Waltham Forest.

Information we hold about you
Information about you is collected by the Charge Point Operators (CPOs), these are the third parties who supply, commission and maintain Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points within the borough. The following CPOs currently operate within Waltham Forest:
- Siemens and their sub-contractor Ubitricity, which is part of the Shell group of companies
- BP pulse
- Liberty Charge

We do not collect any personal data in respect of the provision and use of the electric vehicle charging points and any associated mobile applications.
Why we need your information and how we use it
We are facilitating the installation of electric vehicle charging points in order to support residents in transitioning to lower emission modes of transport.

Your data is collected on the basis of your consent when you use the electrical charging points or any associated mobile applications.

We do not collect any of your personal data in connection with your use of the electric vehicle charging points and so we do not pass on any of your information to other parties.
