What personal information do we collect?

We collect a range of information, including:
- contact details - name, address, email, phone number, etc.
- date of birth
- proof of identity
- NHS number and NI number
- information about your family
- your IP address, what pages you visited, and when
- lifestyle, social and personal circumstances
- the services you receive
- financial details if you make or receive payments
- work details (when you apply for jobs)
- housing information (from council tenants)
- photos, personal appearance, and behaviour
- licenses or permits held
- business activities
We sometimes collect sensitive information. This is called special category data. It includes:
- physical or mental health details
- race or ethnicity
- gender and sexual orientation
- trade union membership
- political party membership and views
- offences (including alleged)
- religious or similar beliefs
- criminal proceedings, results, and sentences
We may also record and monitor calls to our Contact Centre for quality and training purposes.
