If you live in MOD housing in England, Scotland and Wales and your sole and main residence in a Service Family Accommodation (SFA) which has been classed as your main residence and you own a second home which is empty and furnished you may be entitled to a 50% reduction.

Apply for a 50% reduction for your second home.

Please note that you may need to attach evidence that you pay a Contribution in Lieu of Council Tax (CILOCT) when occupying your Service Family Accommodation (SFA).

If you are posted off mainland UK you will no longer be entitled to a 50% reduction for your second home. This is because once a military family is posted overseas the discount stops as we will automatically class your second home as your main residence. You must tell us of any changes
