We work with partner Communities Inc to run free Bystander Intervention training, which aims to inform and educate about biases and how these can impact the people around us.

Our No Space for Hate work is part of our mission to make sure every resident can live their authentic life safely and without fear. Waltham Forest is a diverse and vibrant Borough. The wider No Space for Hate highlights the positive role we can all play in stopping hate and prejudice and making Waltham Forest an equally safe and welcoming place for everyone.

The Stand by Me training helps people to address prejudice, hostility and inappropriate attitudes and behaviours occurring in their environments through safe and easy interventions that can make a big difference.

The programme will help you to:

  1. Understanding the spectrum of how biases can escalate into hate and hostility
  2. Increasing awareness ofthe range of safe interventions that can be made
  3. Improving confidence in making an intervention

This training is available on Wednesday 16 October, from 6pm - 8.30pm in person. Please click the link below to book your free place.
