Bags of Taste provide a bag of free ingredients so that you can cook 3 tasty meals from scratch. The course will help you see ways of budgeting your shopping, engaging in their WhatsApp chat with other residents of Waltham Forest and share they photos of the food you have made. There is a cooking video for each recipe, which is posted every 2-3 days so that everyone can cook and catch up. There is also a mentor in the group to provide help.

They have no more than 4 students at a time making the classes more personable so everyone can be inspired and motivated to take part and cook the dishes. You have 2 weeks to complete the course and once you have graduated will be contacted for some feedback to help with further fundraising as well a certificate and more recipes. There is also a local shopping guide included in your bag of ingredients showing where you can shop and save grocery spending, along with a knife sharpener and some colourful measuring spoons.
