The mission of Lloyd Park Children's Charity (TLPCC) is to build brighter futures for children and their families in the community. Their vision is to ensure every child has the best start in life.

As well as running two ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted-rated nurseries and a nursery in Chingford, they deliver Children and Family Centre Services for all families across the borough of Waltham Forest.

They offer a range of services, including:

  • Digital equality programme
  • A dedicated Baby Bank
  • Early Years social prescribing
  • Breakfast and after school clubs
  • Holiday club

TLPCC is based from 3 locations: The Higham Hill Centre; The Valley Centre and The Lloyd Park Centre.

Family Hubs

Our Family Hubs provide a wide range of information, activities, and services in your local area. This includes health, learning and play activities, childcare, family support, employment support, housing advice, money and benefits advice, and much more.  

We know that all families need support from time to time to look after their wellbeing and help their babies and children thrive.  

Our Family Hubs are a place where families, friends, and professionals can come together in a relaxed and friendly environment and support each other to achieve this. 

Best Start in Life

Family Hubs activities for children aged 0 to 5 are part of Best Start in Life, a government-funded programme supporting Waltham Forest's parents and carers with their children’s growth.

You can find Best Start in Life services in all four Family Hubs and other community spaces throughout every neighbourhood in the borough.
