Support for victims of crime

Victim Support provides support if you are or have been a victim of burglary, robbery, domestic violence, sexual assault, racial harassment, or rape. Through this service, you can speak to a trained volunteer in private. 

Waltham Forest Victim Support provides: 

• practical and emotional support for victims of crime in the immediate impact of victimisation 

• information and support with benefits, missing pension books, and other documents 

• basic crime prevention information and referral to Crime Prevention Officers 

• comprehensive service of help with Criminal Injuries Compensation claims - from application to appeals 

• escort to court, police station, or solicitor 

• specialist support for victims of rape and serious sexual assault
