Early Years inclusion pathway

The Early Years Inclusion Pathway supports all children who have delays in their development and or SEND. The pathway will work with parents, carers, and professionals, so children experience high quality, inclusive learning, and early education.
Universal and Specialist Children Health Services make a statutory notification to the Early Years.
Childcare and Business Development Service to inform the local authority of a child with learning and development delay or SEND. Health professionals will discuss this notification with parents and carers.
Children will receive support at the setting they attend or support before starting an early years setting.
