- The London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI) is a group of engineers, architects, and contractors. The group's purpose is to support the work towards a net zero future.
- LETI have created a Climate Emergency Guide based on their practical experience. This guide shows examples of best practice around retrofit and ways to deliver an energy consumption reduction of 60 to 80%.

Enhabit
Enhabit is a consultancy firm specialising in low energy buildings. Their Head of Building Physics and Consultancy, (Dr Sarah Price) have produced a free resources to help explain retrofit improvements.
- This includes their “Climate Change Starts at Home” YouTube series. This series provides bitesize videos covering retrofit basic such as
- the value of External Wall Insulation compared to Internal Wall Insulation,
- a review of the Q Bot system,
- the basics of ventilation.

Thermal imaging camera
- A thermal imaging camera helps you to identify areas of heat loss in your home. This can help you identify areas for draught proofing and help you prioritise how you would like to spend money. These cameras can be rented for domestic use.
- Thermal imaging cameras work better during the winter or at night. This is because the difference between outside and inside temperatures is higher.

Home accessibility adaptations
- Whilst improving your home's energy efficiency, it may be a good opportunity to consider improvements to how accessible it is.
- People who live with a long term health or physical condition can experience difficulty getting around their home. You may be starting to think that your home isn’t suitable for you anymore. If so, adapting it or moving to a readily adapted home could be an option for you.
