Inter-generational activities can reduce loneliness and social isolation. They can also boost our mental health, well-being, and self confidence providing an opportunity for all generations to feel valued.

We are Friends is a special inter-generational storytelling programme. It will bring older residents, children under 5 years old, and their parents/guardians together through storytelling and singing songs.

There will be puppets, instruments, colourful scarves, and bubbles. You will have a chance to create new friendships across generations.

Are you a family with an under 5 who would like to come along and make friends with older people in the community?

Do you have an older relative or friend who might like to join you?

Are you an older person who would like to come along to the story and rhyme sessions with the under 5s?

Are you a care home that would like to bring some of your residents to meet the little ones?

If you answer yes to any of the questions above, book your place and join the fun with us.

Free event, but booking is required.

This is a Best Start in Life weekly session. When you see Curious Carina you can expect play and learning sessions that will support your child’s learning and development.
