Varied Abilities Forum for council tenants and leaseholders
The Varied Abilities Forum is re-named from the former Disability Forum.
The aim of the Forum is for Waltham Forest council tenants and leaseholders with varied abilities, to connect with the council and provide the opportunity to share ideas, experiences, information and knowledge in a safe space. It promotes inclusivity and equality and allows residents to have their voice heard and opinion considered.
We are re-launching with an exciting mini conference to bring people together and share information including:
- Services being provided within the borough to support residents who have a lived experience of disability and/or health conditions.
- Opportunities to help shape council services and become involved in new initiatives.
- Promotion of wellbeing and mindfulness sessions.
For more information about the day, please download the full conference agenda.
Venue accessibility features include:
- Adapted for wheelchairs
- Disabled toilet
- Accessible parking
- Lift
- Accessible changing
- Poolside hoist
- Poolside facilities
