The lovely Dougal wants you to remember your ID for the election this Thursday.

Accepted forms of ID include passports, driving licences, Blue Badges, and Older or Disabled Person’s Bus Pass among many other. You can see the full list of accepted types of ID on the Electoral Commission’s website.

Please remember:

  • Your ID must be in its original form.
  •  Photocopies or photos of the ID on your phone will not be accepted.

You can still apply for an emergency proxy vote if you are unable to get to the polling station on polling day, for whatever reason. Please call 020 8496 3000 if you think this might apply to you.

On election day you can only vote at the polling station listed on your polling card. If you go to another station you will not be able to vote there. If you're not sure, you can find your station in the comments below.

All polling stations are open between 7am and 10pm on Thursday.

Happy voting!
