Wood Street Wonderland

A Winter Wonderland is coming to Wood Street. 

Step into the season's magic and join us for an unforgettable winter event on Troubridge Square!

In partnership with Waltham Forest Council, Countryside Homes are putting on a festive Christmas event for the whole community to enjoy. 

Bring your family and friends to experience a festive celebration filled with twinkly lights, a musical medley by Our Lady and St George’s Primary School Choir, and a countdown to the Christmas tree lights switch on.

There are also plenty of free activities including Santa’s Grotto, an inclusive Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) friendly sensory space, a Christmas decorations workshop, festival games, and yummy candyfloss. There’ll be hot food and drinks, including mulled wine, and market stalls put on by local businesses too.

If you still have that Friday feeling when it ends don’t worry, because Wood Street Bear, opposite the square, is hosting the official after-party for the adults, with a DJ spinning tunes until late.
