Current stage: preferred options

This Area Action Plan seeks to address the specific challenges of the Wood Street area. It details the policies and proposals that would apply when the plan is adopted.

We have prepared a Preferred Options document for consultation. This follows the work done at the earlier Issues and options stage. In this document, we identify the issues the plan must address and the options to be taken forward in finalising the plan.

The document includes site specific proposals for 19 identified sites. The Preferred Options document was published for consultation from 29 July to 30 September 2013.

Previous stage: issues and options

Wood Street Development Framework - This forms part of the evidence base for the Area Action Plan. Consultation events on emerging proposals were undertaken in December 2011 and closed on 24 February 2012. Welcome to the Exhibition (PDF).

Consultation Leaflets - During February to March 2011, we prepared a consultation leaflet on the Wood Street Area. This provided an early opportunity to comment on the issues, strengths and weaknesses of the area.
