Supported housing

The cost of providing you with the care and support you require will depend upon how much you can afford to pay, and you may receive the care and support for free. An assessment of your needs will always be free. 

A charge will not be made if: 

• your income is too low; 
• your capital is too low (i.e. the value of your assets, such as a property); or 
• you receive a service that we cannot charge for, such as minor adaptions to your home costing less than £1,000, short term services or services if you suffer from Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD).
