We are now operating a two-part register. For both Part 1, and Part 2, you must be over 18 years old and a British, EEA or Swiss national.

Part 1 is for people with a local connection who can afford to buy a plot of land for self-build. Part 2 is for everyone else who meets the above age and nationality requirements.

What is a local connection?

  • It means living and/or working here for at least two years, or
  • Being employed by the armed forces, or having left the service less than two years ago, and
  • having enough money to buy a serviced plot of land.

Associations

An Association can enter Part 1 of the Register provided every member meets all the local eligibility conditions.
