Extensive consultation was undertaken on Local Plan Part 2 (Site Allocations) between 2019 and early 2022, including a “Proposed Submission Version” (Regulation 19) consultation between November 2021 and January 2022. Since then, Local Plan Part 1 (Strategic Policies) has been taken through the statutory examination process and was adopted by the Council on 29 February 2024. 

With Local Plan Part 1 now adopted, it is important to ensure that Local Plan Part 2 is in full alignment and to progress it to adoption. As a result, the Council are now running another round of Pre-Submission (Regulation 19) Consultation on Local Plan Part 2 (Site Allocations) between Tuesday 6 August 2024, and Wednesday 9 October 2024.
